2026 Themes & Dates
Created with your ideas and community feedback.
As a non-profit CIC, all entry fees are reinvested back into disability, youth and community projects. These events exist because the community supports them — and every month we improve, grow and add new ideas based on your feedback.
Safeguarding, Safety & Support
Your safety is important to us. Every event is supported by trained volunteers.
Our team hold training in:
-
Disability awareness
-
Safeguarding adults & prevention of harm
-
First aid
-
Autism awareness
-
Mental health support
-
Equality & diversity
-
Community inclusion
Important:
We are a non-profit community organisation, not a care provider.
Carers/support staff must remain responsible for the individuals they support and must stay onsite if the attendee requires care or supervision.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. "Is it safe?"
Absolutely — yes!
Our disability discos are run with industry-level safeguarding, training and supervision, far beyond what most community venues provide.
To help reassure families, carers and support providers, here is exactly who looks after your loved ones:
Highly Qualified Safety Team
Lead First Aider: Not just a first aider — she is a First Aid at Work Trainer, qualified to teach and assess first aid to others.
Head of Venue Security: A fully licensed SIA Door Supervisor — and also a certified Door Supervisor Trainer.
(She trains security staff across the region.)
Child Protection Officer: A retired Youth Offending Officer with real frontline experience supporting vulnerable young people.
Venue Manager: A qualified Trade Union Congress (TUC) Health & Safety Workplace Representative, specialising in safe working environments.
Volunteer Team: Many hold Level 2 Safety Steward Qualifications, trained to manage crowds, respond to incidents and maintain a safe environment.
Your safety is our highest priority — always.
